I feel like I don’t have enough R&B music in my life right now, and I think that’s mainly because my favorite R&B artists don’t release music often. So, who are some of my favorite R&B artists? One day I will let you know them all, but what I can tell you is that 6LACK is one of them. Today, he returned to the music scene with a new single called “COME ALIVE” with up-and-coming crooner Strick.
In “COME ALIVE,” Strick and 6LACK essentially ask their respective women how much their sex game impacts the way they look at them. What’s interesting about the track, which is driven by sunny production, is that you get a lot of choppy raps out of Strick to start it off. He does find pockets to showcase his smooth vocals. As for 6LACK, he comes across as his slick self who knows how to straddle the line between rapping and singing seamlessly. All in all, I think this is a cool little R&B banger.
