Quavo Returns Fire With “Over Hoes & Bitches”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

It seems like Ratings Game Music has transformed into Ratings Brawl Music lately. The last three reviews I’ve done have all been diss tracks. Among them was Chris Brown’s scathing diss aimed at Quavo, titled “Weakest Link.” In the track, Chris delivers some heavy blows. One particularly striking comment was his remark about some people wishing Quavo’s demise instead of Takeoff’s. Today, Quavo responded by dropping a new diss track titled “Over Hoes & B*tches.”

I think “Over Hoes & Bitches” is a dope track. I vibe with the slick beat that powers it, and the aggressive posthumous Takeoff verse is straight fire. But let’s cut to the chase: you’re here for the disses, and I’ve got you covered. In his verses, Quavo accuses Chris Brown of attempting to assault Teyana Taylor, labels him a crackhead Michael Jackson, and questions his street cred. He also dismisses Chris’ latest diss track as weak and expresses regret that he has to resort to violence over a woman. Overall, while I enjoy the song, I don’t think it’s a particularly memorable diss track (if that makes sense).
