G-SALIH Says He’s “Searching for Forever”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

If J. Cole doesn’t want to be in the “Big 3” anymore, I nominate G-SALIH to replace him. All jokes aside, SALIH is a tier-1 rapper who excels in various aspects; I’m talking about delivering great punchlines, flowing well on beats, and, most importantly, delivering meaningful content in his music. In other words, as a hip-hop consumer, there’s a good chance you would be satisfied with any song you hear from him. Recently, G-SALIH dropped a project called GIHAD. One of the best tracks from it is “Searching For Forever.”

In “Searching For Forever,” G-SALIH expresses his unwillingness to work for the man his whole life and his determination to never stop chasing his dreams. He also reflects on his hip-hop journey, recalling when he decided to freestyle in front of all his high school classmates for the first time. Accompanying G-SALIH’s lyrics are a soulful backdrop, a confident delivery, and sneaky-good punchlines. All in all, the song is a very good listen.

If everyone had the same level of passion as G-SALIH, society would run more smoothly.
