Ghostface Killah & Nas Join Forces For “Scar Tissue”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Ghostface Killah and Nas are undisputed hip-hop legends. What’s also not debatable is how much people from New York City love them. With their unmistakable NYC accents and signature vintage hip-hop sounds, their roots are deeply ingrained in their music. Today marks the release of a new track featuring these two esteemed artists, both in their 50s, and it summarizes the elements that have made them truly exceptional in the hip-hop landscape.

“Scar Tissue” is hard as f**k…Literally. The song boasts this hard-hitting beat that will feel like haymakers to your eardrums. As expected, Ghostface Killah and Nas meet the beat at the rim, both delivering their raps with great ferocity and dropping bars that highlight their violent, competitive, and king-like mentalities. To me, the OGs came with the kind of vigor I expect from Kendrick and Drake these next couple of weeks.

Ghostface Killah raps like a dude who’s a few days away from being evicted. His passion is astonishing.
