key sayless Says “Sorry Ms. Jackson”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Why are people always apologizing to Ms. Jackson?

Do you know what’s ironic? It says a lot that key sayless has decided to choose this moniker. Will he be one of those artists who lets his music do the talking? Or will he have the critics ‘saying less’ by saying the most? Whatever the case may be, his debut single, “Sorry Ms. Jackson,” is very impressive.

In “Sorry, Ms. Jackson,” Key Sayless does some serious apologizing. He tells Ms. Jackson, the mother of a girl he met in the summer while rolling backwoods with mutual friends, that he is sorry for taking her heart and turning it into crumbles. He also mentions how their fallout had him down badder than the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Key Sayless’s honest lyrics are accompanied by infectious melodies, an intoxicating hook, and an emotional, booming trap beat that will knock Mr. Jackson’s hairpiece off. Overall, I think “Sorry, Ms. Jackson” is a certified hit that even Outkast would approve of.
