icyslug Says “I Miss The…”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

icyslug gets straight to the point here.

icyslug can probably kick your ass. Back in the day, he was a heavily recruited hockey and football player, and we all know the kind of dedication it takes to excel in those sports. But he also makes some pretty good music. Since dropping his first singles in 2018, icy’s stock has steadily grown, with a bunch of his tracks exceeding over 100k views, including “Memories In My Head,” “Get Me,” and “Henny & Bacardi 2.” His latest single, “I Miss The…,” might be my favorite from his catalog.

icyslug whispers sweet nothings in “I Miss The…”

In “I Miss The…,” icyslug is blunt: he wants to get back with a chick he was non-committal to in the past, aiming to establish a healthy new sexual relationship with her. He wants her bad, too. Here’s the kicker, though: icyslug also wants her friends and her friends’ friends, too, which is bold.

I absolutely love the vibes attached to “I Miss The…”. Over an energetic, synth-heavy EDM beat, icyslug effortlessly delivers his smooth lyrics, playing with a slight melody that will capture your attention. Overall, the song is chill and exciting, making it a standout track.

Give “I Miss The…” a shot. Trust me, it’s a summertime banger you need in your life.
