KRIS Seduces Us With “SINS”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

A tempting tale about giving in to our darker impulses.

California-based KRIS is a multi-talented singer-songwriter whose musical journey began in the backseat of her mother’s car, listening to legends like Stevie Nicks, the Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Meat Loaf, and Journey. Her passion for music led her to start writing poetry and songs as a child. At 18, KRIS moved to California, where she built a transformative foundation for her new life. Her writing is laced with a deep nostalgic wistfulness and intriguing visuals that capture the alternating cycles of light and darkness life offers. KRIS’s latest drop is the alternative single “SINS.”

With a mesmerizing blend of bold guitar moments and moody tones, “SINS” provides a compelling backdrop that beautifully complements the tune’s emotional narrative. Lyrics like “I’ll take your sins and I will live and die with you, So tell me your confessions” and “Beautiful boy born from earth, born from fire, How am I supposed to trust a man when I know that he’s a liar?” offers a striking exploration of surrendering to desire. Fueled by haunting vocals and a wonderfully wicked sense, KRIS gifts us a tempting tale about giving in to our darker impulses. So press play and get seduced by “SINS.”
