LaiddBackZach Says “I Need It (Positivity)”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

LaiddBackZach puts up an outstanding rap performance on this track.

LaiddBackZach (aka LBZ) is a rapper from Compton, CA, who creates music with universal appeal. Not only does he explore a variety of genres, including R&B, hip-hop, and funk, but he also delves into topics that resonate with a wide audience.

Some of LaiddBackZach’s biggest singles are “Super Side Nigga” and “This Ain’t It.” His latest single is the very impressive “I Need It (Positivity).”

As someone who absolutely loves Tupac’s “How Do U Want It” single, the first thing that caught my attention about “I Need It (Positivity)” is the production. It boasts very important elements from that song’s beat. However, do not sleep on the performance that LaiddBackZach puts up. Throughout the track, he relies on a relentless flow, a slow-paced flow, and highly infectious melodic raps to speak on the positivity he wants around him and the toxins he wants far from him. He also touches on a few things he desires, like encounters with cougars and enjoyable vacations. Overall, I just love the colorful vibes and infectious sound of this song.
