Drake Hops On Snowd4y’s “Wah Gwan Delilah”

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

What the hell is going on here?

Drake is coming off the most high-profile hip-hop beef in decades. While I think he lost it, he did put up an impressive showing.

Now that his beef with Kendrick Lamar is out of the way, it seems Drake is back to his carefree ways. First, he collaborated with Sexyy Red on the borderline-awful “U My Everything.” Now, he decided to hop on the uber-weird “Wah Gwan Delilah.”

In the original version of “Wah Gwan Delilah,” Toronto artist Snowd4y’s performance wasn’t particularly impressive. In this remix, Drake follows suit with a similarly lackluster performance. Not only does the 6God adopt an exaggerated Toronto-inspired singing style that I hate, but his lyrics are also quite scattered. However, I give him props for being bold enough to release this track despite the recent wave of criticism he’s been facing.

I know folks will kill Drake for this, but let’s be real: He’s just having some fun, so chill out.
