Mallow Hill Says She’s “Thinkin’ Bout My Baby”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Can you fall in love with two people?

Mallow Hill is a band consisting of Mikayla Joseph (Vocals), Danny Gwinn (Guitar), Mac Dignam (Keys), Chris Reynolds (Bass), and John Menfee (Drums). It’s imperative to pay homage to all the members of the group because each one is integral to the grand scheme of the music they create, which is a fantastic combination of blues and rock’ n’roll.

Some of Mallow Hill’s biggest releases are “Over The Moon” and “Backwards.” Their latest release is “Thinkin’ About My Baby.”

“Thinkin’ About My Baby” sounds like the bluesy music I’ve grown up listening to. It features a spellbinding bass line, impactful drums, an easygoing rhythm, and more. Over the instrumentation, we get one of Mikayla’s most stunning performances to date. She talks about craving someone who is not her baby, using sultry and sly vocals. Though being with them is tempting, she recognizes that they will never make her feel like her “baby” can. All in all, you’ll love Mikayla’s painful honesty and the song’s vintage blues feel.
