LaLa Says ” Don’t Tease Me”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

“Don’t Tease Me” is the mellow song you need for the summer.

Miss Lamilia, now known as LaLa, has gained recognition for her distinctive fast-paced, intense drill and Afro-beat sound, which are showcased in tracks like “Dumb Flex” (featuring Abra Cadabra), “Big Body,” and “Tik Tok.” However, in her latest single, “Don’t Tease Me,” LaLa takes on a sultry persona, diverging from her usual tough girl-boss image.

In “Don’t Tease Me,” LaLa portrays a character eagerly awaiting her next encounter with her elusive lover. As the night unfolds, her fling starts to fade, leaving her yearning for his touch. Despite the signs pointing to a fleeting connection, she finds herself unable to let go, descending into a state of anticipation and longing for another rendezvous. With its mid-tempo, Afro-R&B-infused melody, the song reflects the compulsive nature of desire, highlighting the craving for someone to fill a void, even against better judgment.

“Don’t Tease Me” offers a seductive escape, inviting listeners to dance along as they navigate their own complicated love lives.
