Young Thug, Lil GotIt & Lil Keed Show Great Chemistry In “Twisting Our Fingers”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Man, this track makes me sad.

I hate that YSL is in shambles right now. Not only is their head honcho, Young Thug, in jail, but we tragically lost Lil Keed, and Gunna seems to have a shaky relationship with the members. The good news is that at least some semblance of the unit is still alive and well.

Today, a brand new single featuring members of YSL, including Young Thug, Lil Keed, and Lil GotIt, hit streaming services. It’s called “Twisting Our Fingers.”

It always amazed me how much Lil Keed and Lil GotIt could channel Young Thug’s sound. Emulating such a distinctive style is no small feat. In “Twisting Fingers,” they are so in sync that it’s like they’re not just on the same page but on the same paragraph. Over a somewhat sluggish trap beat, the three rappers deliver braggadocious and reckless bars, complemented by unchained vocal performances. Though Thugger sets the tone perfectly, it’s Keed who takes it to another level, sounding like Thugger with a little more gas to him.
