Khalid Says I “Adore U”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I’m so happy for Jaylen Brown, Khalid’s brother.

I miss when Khalid’s music moved the needle for me. I was such a fan of his when he was making songs like “Young Dumb & Broke” and “Better.” In fact, Khalid has about seven tracks that have reached over one billion streams.

The good news is that Khalid is still young, smart, and talented. Today, he released a new single called “Adore U” that should catch listeners’ attention.

Khalid gets his seductive on in “Adore U.” Over slow-burning, dreamy production, the El Paso, TX singer delivers silky smooth vocals that pair perfectly with his lyrics about getting high with someone who has his heart. While I don’t think the song is amazing, it definitely has the potential to set the mood for a smooch session with your partner.

Jaylen Brown is going to win finals MVP, isn’t he?
