Rating: 5 out of 5.Jon Vinyl just dropped one of the best R&B singles of the year.
It’s hard to believe that Jon Vinyl is only 23 years old. In my opinion, his music sounds mature, his vocals are incredibly polished, and he has a pretty impressive resume. Maybe 23 is the new 40?
Some of Jon Vinyl’s biggest singles include “Addicted” and “Chrome Hearts.” His latest release is the excellent track “Closure.”
In “Closure,” Jon Vinyl expresses his desire for closure from someone he once had a connection with, despite claiming to have moved on. He reflects on their lack of common ground and laments all the potentially great things they could have experienced together.
What I love about the song are the melodies we get from Jon Vinyl. They have a vintage sound yet are incredibly dynamic. I also appreciate the passion he shows, along with the moving, authentic R&B production. Honestly, I can’t find a single complaint about this track.
Give “Closure” a shot below.
