David Green Wonders If He Will “Play or Fold”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

David Green has a voice that can move mountains.

David Green is an outstanding singer, songwriter, and composer from Los Angeles. While I believe he has a great voice, it’s his willingness to show his vulnerable side lyrically and instill pure passion into his vocal performances that truly make him stand out.

Recently, David Green released an EP called Happy Tears. It features four tracks, including the excellent “Play or Fold.”

In “Play or Fold,” David Green explores the fine line between rising and falling in life, emphasizing that it’s up to him to overcome the trials and tribulations that come his way. While there are moments where David sounds optimistic, he also finds time to nervously question what his legacy will ultimately look like.

The passion we get from David Green in this track is truly astonishing. Over dreamy production with a slightly dark undertone, Green delivers soul-clenching vocals accompanied by absolutely intoxicating melodies. In fact, his vocal performance is so powerful that it might even make you contemplate your own life decisions.
