Rich The Kid Calls On Kanye West For A Remix To “Gimme A Second 2”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Kanye West is a very smart man for hopping on THIS Rich The Kid track.

With Kanye West reportedly helping produce Rich The Kid’s next album, I think he is going to unlock a version of the New York rapper that we’ve never seen before. Their partnership got off to an excellent start with the release of “Gimme A Second,” one of Rich The Kid’s best singles in a long time.

Today, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign decided to hop on a remix of Rich’s latest single. As expected, they fit in seamlessly (I mean, they helped produce it, so he should).

“Gimmie A Second 2” definitely sounds holier than the original version. It’s not just because Mr. Jesus, Kanye West, is on the track, but also because the beat features some unmistakable church elements. That said, West and Ty Dolla $ign deliver contributions that will make you say “Amen.” In their back-and-forth, they discuss getting chicks to do what they want, being told they won’t go to heaven, and being reverends. Ty Dolla $ign’s part is short, while Kanye’s presence really takes over the track.

Yo, Rich The Kid kinda murked this track.
