More Song Ratings (06/24/2024): Rema, Denzel Curry, Tyga & More

Ratings for “BENIN BOYS,” “On His Face,” “Black Flag Freestyle & “Uh Huh.”

Rema – BENIN BOYS

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

In “BENIN BOYS,” Rema and Shallipopi explain that they are the type of individuals who get big money and party hard as hell. What I love about this track is its tempo, infectious melodies, and just pure cool vibes.

Erica Banks – On His Face

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I didn’t know Erica Banks was stacked like that. Anyway, in “On His Face,” Banks mainly talks about the typical s**t female rappers talk about these days: getting dudes obsessed with her and staying a few steps ahead of her competition. The song’s biggest selling points are the menacing beat Banks works over, her consistent flow, and the way she switches between a gutter, GloRilla-esque delivery, and an innocent-sounding vocal style.

That Mexican OT & Denzel Curry – BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE

Rating: 4 out of 5.

To get you excited for this track, all you need to know is that Denzel Curry and That Mexican OT rap over a tough-ass, vintage-sounding trap beat. While Denzel definitely steals the show with his dope-ass punchlines, punchy rap style, and catchy hook, OT’s unique flow adds a fresh twist to the track. All in all, this is a fun little “From The Block” freestyle.

310babii & Tyga – Uh Huh

310babii grabbed the perfect person for “Uh Huh”: Tyga! Together, they created a menacing club banger where they talk about getting money, stiff-arming weak-asses, and dealing with b*tches who eat meat while claiming they don’t. What’s the song’s biggest selling point? The eerie beat that powers everything.
