Bebe Rexha is sharing with her fans that the music industry isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

On July 2nd, Rexha shared on X (formerly Twitter), “I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. I AM frustrated. I have been UNDERMINED. I’ve been so quiet for the longest time.”

Curious fans were asking her what was going on, with even one inquiring if her recent posts were marketing for her new single, “I’m the Drama.” The “Me, Myself and I” singer clapped back, saying, “Marketing? I have no budget for that. IM FED UP.”

Rexha hasn’t responded to various outlets, leaving fans wondering about the exact cause of her distress. Based on my research, it could be a combination of factors, including her recent split from ex-boyfriend Keyan Safyari, her Instagram call-out of rapper G-Eazy (which she later deleted), or general frustration with music labels, stating “THEY PUNISH YOU” when one fan asked what was stopping her from speaking.

She recently provided an update on July 3rd, stating many outlets have asked for an interview. While she hadn’t accepted or declined any of them, she asked people writing about her to support her music.

Bebe Rexha’s new single “I’m the Drama” is out now on all major streaming services. We wish her the best on her journey.
