YG, Lil Yachty & Babyface Ray Link Up For “STUPID”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

The flows used in this song are definitely stupid (Not sure if I mean that in a good or bad way).

YG is coming, y’all. Very soon, he will release a new album called Just Re’d Up 3. Normally, I wouldn’t be as excited as I am now, but with Kendrick having the whole West Coast up, I am now!

So far, we’ve received a few singles from his forthcoming album: “WEIRD,” “SHAKE,” and “KNOCKA.” The latest one is called “STUPID” (YG isn’t a man with many words, I see).

As expected, YG, Lil Yachty, and Babyface Ray use the word ‘stupid’ in a positive light in “STUPID.” They boast about their “stupid” necklaces, their “stupid” ability to attract models, and making “stupid” money. For me, the best part of the track is the hook—it’s catchy as hell. The second best thing is the beat, which hits harder than Tank Davis. The most interesting aspect of the track is the variety of flows, with most hanging on for dear life, especially Yachty’s. All in all, I think this is a pretty decent banger.

We use the American language in very strange ways.
