Keely Waits For Those “June Bugs”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

There’s nothing like a late-night connection.

Though Nashville-based Keely is well-versed in a variety of genres, from pop to indie, I think I am ready to call her my new R&B plug. When she dives headfirst into the genre, she delivers nothing but pure-sounding tracks. She’s also exceptional at transferring her feelings into beautiful lyrics.

After hearing tracks like “Careful I’m a Pisces” and “Voicemail,” you might also have Keely as your plug. Her latest single, “June Bug,” is just as impressive as those other two.

In “June Bug,” Keely explores the emotions that arise from late-night encounters, encompassing intimacy, deep connection, and pure love. As a major fan of slow jams, I find this to be one of the most authentic tracks I’ve heard in a while. It features touching production with a slow pace that will resonate with you, passionate vocals delivered in a careful manner, and an overall vibe that completely pulls you in. All in all, you’ll absolutely enjoy the buzz “June Bug” gives you.

Listen to “June Bug” by Keely.
