Adele says hello to the Olympics.
Even a concert couldn’t stop Adele from watching the Olympics. During her performance in Munich last Saturday, the Grammy winner paused to watch the women’s 100-meter final, playing the race on the jumbotron for the crowd to see.
The fans supported the sudden break as they started recording on their phones and cheering for the athletes. Adele quipped, “I’d absolutely die if I tried to do even a little, any kind of movement at all.”
Saint Lucia’s Julien Alfred ended up taking the gold medal, marking the first gold medal in the history of the country. The songstress gave Alfred her full support, with help from the crowd, saying, “Let’s give her a round of applause! Let’s get on with the show. Fantastic, St. Lucia!”
