Central Cee Drops “Bolide Noir” & “Billion Streams Freestyle”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Central Cee is flaming right now.

If I had to make an end-of-the-year list today, Central Cee would definitely be a Rapper of the Year nominee. Now, would he win the award? Maybe not, but just being in the conversation is already a huge accomplishment.

What stands out to me is Central Cee’s consistency; whether it’s freestyles or collaborations, he has been everywhere, steadily dropping music and making his mark. That level of hustle has turned him into a real success story.

Today, Central Cee returned to the music scene with two new singles: “Bolide Noir” and “Billion Streams Freestyle.”

So, if you don’t understand French, you might find it tough to catch all the details in “Bolide Noir.” Featured guest JRK 19 delivers a gritty verse entirely in French. Sadly, I can’t assist much there—I boycotted the language after a breakup. But don’t worry, Central Cee steps in with his verse, and it’s solid and in English. He touches on his distrust for women, his rise to fame, and escaping the streets, all while delivering his signature punchlines and clever energy.

Remember when Lil Wayne dropped the “A Milli” remix after selling over a million copies of Tha Carter III in just a week? Yeah, this is nothing like that. In “Billion Streams Freestyle,” Central Cee reflects on his rough come-up—nearly becoming a father at 14, growing up without knowing his dad, and hustling in the trap. His raw, feverish delivery fits perfectly over the fluctuating production, making his story hit even harder.

Central Cee can’t miss right now. He’s like Steph Curry vs. France.
