This year has been monumental for Lady Gaga, to say the least. With Joker: Folie à Deux hitting theaters, her recent engagement to longtime boyfriend Michael Polansky, a breathtaking performance at the Paris Olympics, the release of her collaboration “Die With A Smile” with Bruno Mars, and now the announcement of her seventh album, she’s clearly having a standout year.

Gaga subtly hinted at the news in a recent Instagram post, which listed dates for the Joker: Folie à Deux premiere and her European Press Junket. Among these, she marked “XX October: LG7 first single,” confirming the release of her highly anticipated new single this October.

Lady Gaga’s duet with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile,” is confirmed to be separate from her upcoming LG7 album, but she’s been dropping hints on Instagram with numerous studio photos. While fans are speculating that the Grammy winner’s new project might arrive in early 2025, there’s always the chance Gaga could surprise us with a release before the year’s end. Discussing her latest work, Gaga shared, “I have written so many songs, and I have produced so many songs. It’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before. There’s something beautiful about knowing you will be loved no matter what you do.”
