Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Short n’ Sweet’ Edges Travis Scott

For Carpenter, this news is short n’ sweet!

“thank you for listening to short n’ sweet :’) i love you so so so much” Carpenter said recently on X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the success of her sixth studio album album Short n’ Sweet.

How successful was it? It earned the pop star her first Billboard No. 1. After a very brief but intense battle, it beat Travis Scott’s 2014 mixtape Days Before Rodeo, which was released as an album on the same day as Carpenter’s hit. The battle between the two superstars wasn’t a landslide victory, however, as the win was secured by fewer than 1,000 album units.

The recent music video starring Sabrina Carpenter alongside Jenna Ortega is quite the success story as well. As of writing, it has over 49,000,000 views on YouTube and is receiving rave reviews. “Sabrina and Jenna in a music video is something we didn’t expect but it was a need. Two icons in one video!” one fan enthusiastically states. “The fact they were both on Disney makes this collab more iconic,” another fan chimes in. I personally really enjoyed the music video a ton, and loved its horrifying and manic energy.

Travis’s YouTube hits are nothing to scoff at either, with his newest music video for “Drugs You Should Try It” obtaining over 3 million views and rave reviews. “This feels like justice, this song has always been an all-time classic,” a fan states. “Bro dropped a banger 10 years ago and it still hits hard af,” another fan excitedly chimes in.

It may not be common to describe a Christmas-set, unrated, obscenely grotesque gore-fest as a feel-good movie, but Damien Leone’s Terrifier 3 is precisely that.
Thankfully, Olivia Rodrigo was a good sport about it.
