Ice Meez has steadily become one of my favorite rappers this year. What I love about his music is the strong West Coast vibes it boasts, which makes sense given his northern California roots. Additionally, his polished rap sound is a testament to being in the game for over a decade.

While I’m a huge fan of Ice Meez’s hip-hop/R&B bangers, his latest single, “What It Do,” is pure club banger material.

In “What It Do,” Ice Meez and featured guest Taj-He-Spitz bring the heat with bold lyrics about living large, pimpin’, and staying battle-ready. With lines like having “wallets bigger than your chick’s stomach,” their confidence shines through. The track boasts a heavy, thumping club beat perfect for the Oakland scene. As for Ice Meez, his laid-back flow hooks you in, while Taj-He-Spitz spices things up with a fiery verse with a dynamic flow. All in all, this track is one to rock with.
