Pharrell Williams Creates “Piece By Piece”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Pharrell Williams has done it again.

Here’s a fun fact: One of the main reasons I love music so much is because of Pharrell. His In My Mind album was a major influence on me—I listened to it, studied it, and tried to emulate it extensively. Now, at 50, he’s still delivering great music. Today, Pharrell dropped two new tracks: “Can’t Hold Me Down” and “Piece By Piece.” Here, I’ll be focusing on the latter.

Pharrell shows out in “Piece by Piece,” which is reportedly part of a Lego soundtrack. The track features an electrifying performance where he sings about building connections. The chorus stands out the most—it’s vintage and catchy, guaranteed to stick in your head. The dance-ready production, with its feverish tempo and Pharrell’s diverse vocal styles, makes the track an energetic and memorable listen.
