Recently, the Chandler, Arizona native released his debut single, “White Claw,” followed by his first music video for “WYGDBI.” Now, he’s back with a new single titled “Muscle.”
“Muscle” is built to get you hyped, especially for moments like lifting weights or celebrating a parlay win. Throughout the track, DaShawn raps about his major come-up, boasting how he now has enough money to eat sushi whenever he wants and how he’s overcome the pressure others tried to put on him.
What immediately stands out about “Muscle” is the production: it features triumphant flutes that give off a sense of victory, along with heavy bass that will definitely rattle your speakers. As for DaShawn, his melodic raps flow effortlessly, hopping and skipping across the beat in a way that makes it clear he’s living his best life.
