This is the Kid Cudi who is a first-ballot hall of famer.
Kid Cudi is a man of his word. Recently, he told fans that he had something special for us, set to release on September 18th. He topped himself (No Diddy) by dropping it a day early. The track, titled “DON’T WORRY,” features Chip Tha Ripper. As a huge Kid Cudi fan, I was instantly hyped when I saw Chip Tha Ripper on the track. The two Cleveland artists have been making memorable music together for over 15 years, and this release only adds to their legacy.
In “DON’T WORRY,” Kid Cudi starts off by paying tribute to New York City, which he refers to as his second home. From there, he delivers a performance that feels quintessentially Cudi. In the track, which is backed by cosmic, otherworldly production, Cudi effortlessly shifts between sticky, melodic vocals, a catchy hook, and impactful rap verses. His performance is so captivating that it’s easy to get lost in the energy of the track without focusing too much on the lyrics. Chip Tha Ripper, as he’s known to do, complements Cudi with a smooth verse that’s laid-back and effortlessly cool.
Give “DON’T WORRY” by Kid Cudi and Chip Tha Ripper a shot below.
