“Things have gotten overwhelming.”

Chappell Roan has canceled her appearance at the All Things Go festival, which took place this weekend in New York and Washington. This decision comes just two days after she faced criticism from fans for her hesitation to endorse a presidential candidate, putting her in a difficult position with her supporters.

In an Instagram post regarding the cancellations, Roan apologized to those looking forward to seeing her in NYC and DC, stating, “I’m sorry to everyone who has been waiting to see me at All Things Go this weekend, but I am unable to perform. Things have become overwhelming over the past few weeks, and I’m really feeling it.” She continued, “I feel the pressure to prioritize a lot of things right now, and I need a few days to focus on my health. I want to be fully present when I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding. I’ll be back soon xoxo.”

Roan has also addressed her struggles with the pressures of newfound fame on TikTok, which is understandable given her rapid rise in the industry. I wish her all the best as she navigates these challenges.
