Quando Rondo Tells The Story Of “Luh Wodie”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I have a feeling that Quando Rondo is talking about himself here.

Quando Rondo should definitely be a bigger name in the rap game by now. His talent is undeniable, and being closely associated with NBA Youngboy—one of the biggest rappers in the industry—was expected to boost his status even further. However, his run-ins with the law and ongoing street drama over the past few months have likely impacted his rise. The positive takeaway is that he’s still putting out music. Recently, Ronto dropped a new track from the project titled “Luh Wodie.”

In “Luh Wodie,” Quando Rondo reflects on a young hustler who grinded his way to success, flaunts his wealth, switches girls like he switches outfits, and stays prepared for any challenges that come their way. More than likely, he’s talking about himself. The track features an emotional trap beat that packs some serious bass. Quando Rondo complements this with passionate rap vocals that make it feel like he’s both conflicted by and immersed in his turbulent lifestyle. Ah, there’s nothing like the difference between struggle and indulgence.

Someone needs to yank Quando Rondo away from the streets.
