There’s a good chance that we won’t see Lil Durk for a long while…
Lil Durk has been arrested by Broward County Police in Florida over a murder-for-hire plot hours after five people were linked to the shooting. He’s being held in the state until he is transferred to the US Marshals.
For the five men, the US District Court in Los Angeles, where the crime was committed, levied the following charges on them: conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, committing murder-for-hire involving a death, and use of a machine gun in a violent crime resulting in death. If found guilty, they can end up getting the death penalty. So, how are they linked to Lil Durk? Allegedly, these five men are connected to OTF, Durk’s crew, and were promised certain things if they cooperated in the plot to kill Quando Rondo.
On the day of the shooting in August 2022, Quando Rondo survived, but his cousin Luh Pub was killed. The indictment suggests that five men tracked Quando to a gas station and opened fire, potentially linked to payback for King Von’s murder during a confrontation with Quando.
As we await more details on this very serious case, I think it’s safe to say that Durk is in some very hot water right now.
