An emotional moment for Adele!

It turns out even a superstar like Adele can be starstruck! After meeting Celine Dion at her Las Vegas residency show last Saturday, Adele paused to share a heartfelt hug with her idol.

On Instagram, Adele wrote, “I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk on…and it was a MOMENT!!” She continued, expressing gratitude and admiration for Dion, saying, “Words will never sum up what you mean to me.”

This was a memorable event for Adele, who is set to take a break soon. It was especially meaningful as the theater she performed in was originally meant for Dion.

With Adele’s record-breaking shows, Dion’s Paris Olympic appearance, and a well-received documentary, both singers have had a standout year.
