Russ Disrespects Hip-Hop Media In “Legend Freestyle”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Thank God our stupid site didn’t catch a stray.

Russ and Conductor Williams are forming a solid creative partnership. Following last week’s release of “Ecstasy (Freestyle),” where Russ reflected on all the wins he’s garnered these past few years, they’ve dropped a new single titled “Legend Freestyle.” In this latest track, Russ takes a more intense, no-holds-barred approach.

In “Legend Freestyle,” Russ flexes his influence, emphasizes the value of self-love, and expresses a hunger for revenge. He also takes shots at critics from outlets like GQ and Rolling Stone, emphasizing that their opinions don’t affect his success. The track stands out not just for Russ’s potent, unapologetic lyrics and clever punchlines, but also for Conductor Williams’ production, which gives a classic, gritty backdrop that complements Russ’s message perfectly.

I’m OK with everything Russ said about music critics, but calling them “p**ssies.” That’s a little harsh.
