Tyga Releases “Spooky”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Tyga dropped this track on Halloween night, though I didn’t get around to listening to it until a few days later.

I wouldn’t have believed it if you’d told me fifteen years ago that Tyga would become one of the biggest club rappers ever. S**t, early in his career, he was dropping heartfelt alternative tracks with f**king Good Charlotte. Tyga’s latest single, “Spooky,” brings his usual flair with a horror-themed twist.

“Spooky” features a horror-inspired beat mixed with classic California club vibes. Tyga raps with his signature laid-back style, detailing his wild party antics and encounters with women. The production is a highlight, bringing a cold, catchy vibe that hip-hop fans will appreciate. Tyga’s understated tone might seem low-energy, but it aligns with his smooth, player persona. Overall, “Spooky” is something slight that you can toss on at a Halloween-themed house party.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I went to a house party.
