Lil Uzi Vert Slid In “Chill Bae”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

We can all agree that “Chill Bae” is the best track off “Eternal Atake 2,” right?

Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake 2 album was met with mixed reviews. Let me stop being politically correct here: Many people hated the s**t. Personally, I thought the album had way too many jit-inspired records, which I don’t believe is Lil Uzi Vert’s best bag. Towards the album’s end, though, things started to heat up. One of the tracks that caught my attention was “Chill Bae.”

“Chill Bae” showcases Uzi’s smoothest vocals over an emotional backdrop that feels almost meditative. The lyrics delve into a complex relationship with a woman Uzi has previously spoiled, highlighting their current struggles. I appreciate the honesty in their lyrics, the infectious chorus, and the overall flow of the song.

If you tossed Drake on this song, it would be a megahit.
