Morray Returns With “Out The Hole”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Where the hell has Morray been all these months?

A couple of years ago, I was so high on Morray’s music that I expected to fail a drug test. This was during the time he dropped the phenomenal “Quicksand” and delivered a standout feature on J. Cole’s “m y. l i f e.” What I love most about Morray’s music is the sheer passion he pours into it, with a soulful singing style that even church folks could vibe with. On Friday, Morray made his long-awaited return to the music scene with a brand-new single, “Out The Hole.”

In “Out The Hole,” Morray reflects on his journey from the trenches to living a life of luxury, complete with expensive cars and sprawling cribs. What stands out most is how he attributes his success to relentless hard work and staying focused, never letting adversity bring him down. It’s an inspiring reminder of the rewards of perseverance and self-belief.

Surprisingly, “Out The Hole” isn’t somber in the slightest. Instead, it boasts an impactful, hypnotic beat brimming with vibrant energy. Morray elevates the track further with a mix of roaring, soulful vocals and fiery rap deliveries, giving it a triumphant, confident edge—almost as if he penned it right after snagging a pricey Balenciaga shirt.
