Miguel Returns With “Always Time”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Let Miguel’s “Always Time” cleanse your ears on this crazy Friday.

Miguel will always be on my good list because of timeless hits like “Adorn,” “Sure Thing,” and “All I Want Is You.” I do find it a bit odd that after that infamous stage incident, he hasn’t been as consistent with his music drops. But today, he’s back with his 2024 debut, “Always Time,” a track that hits deep and forces you to reflect on your emotions. The song is another example of Miguel’s ability to make you feel everything with his soulful delivery and introspective lyrics.

In “Always Time,” Miguel delves into the emotional toll of loving so intensely that it clouds your judgment. He reflects on how love can sometimes lead you to lose sight of your own well-being, and ultimately comes to the realization that, at times, love means letting go of the person you care about for the sake of both your happiness. That’s some deep s**t.

As expected, Miguel delivers his deeply introspective lyrics with unmatched passion, pouring his heart out through vocals that resonate deeply with the listener. His delivery is soulful and powerful, leaving an emotional imprint that lingers well after the track ends. The stripped-down production perfectly complements his raw emotion, adding a dramatic layer to the song, evoking the imagery of watching a rose slowly wilt and fade.

Damn, you can have love. I rather have a burger and fries at this point.
