Let the passive-aggressive games begin!
As popular as Drake is, it’s funny how rarely he does interviews or makes public appearances. In fact, he recently even removed his name from Grammy consideration, which was a pretty bold move. That said, aside from a few Instagram posts and leaked messages, we really haven’t heard Drake’s direct take on his beef with Kendrick Lamar.
Well, recently, the self-proclaimed 6GOD did a stream with xQc, and he took shots at a whole list of his foes, including The Weeknd, Steve Lacy (didn’t even know they had beef), and, of course, Kendrick Lamar. But all we really care about is what he had to say about Kendrick, and here it is:
“You need facts to take me out, fairytales won’t do it.”

This clearly references Kendrick Lamar’s accusations in tracks like “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us,” where he alleges that Drake has a secret child and makes unsettling claims about his character. Wasting no time after Drake’s diss, Kendrick fired back with a leaked message that has mysteriously surfaced online. You can check it out below:
Alright, folks, we’re entering the phase where the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef is starting to feel a bit stale. At this point, we’re probably not going to get many direct shots, just a bunch of subtle digs and indirect mentions. I’m honestly expecting at least 1,568 subliminal messages aimed at Kendrick in Drake’s next album. He’s earned that right at this point.
