I’m old enough to remember when Nelly and Ashanti first started dating, and I’m also old enough to care that they’ve decided to reignite their relationship. When you think about it, they’re living proof that if something is truly meant for you, it will come back into your life. Their renewed love story has already led to marriage and their first child, but it seems their journey isn’t over just yet.

According to some spicy sources, Ashanti and Nelly are expecting another child. While their marriage makes this news less surprising, what is surprising is that Nelly, 50, and Ashanti, 44, have managed to have two children within about a year or so.

Let’s be honest: in 2024, we’re not really checking for new music from Nelly or Ashanti. That said, they still hold significant relevance in the R&B/hip-hop world. Their hits continue to light up clubs, and they serve as a great example of black love that has only gotten stronger with time. Plus, it’s impressive how they both look no older than 40.
