“Hurry Up Tomorrow” will be one of the first releases of 2025.
I’m genuinely puzzled as to why more people aren’t buzzing about The Weeknd’s upcoming Hurry Up Tomorrow album. Have we somehow forgotten that The Weeknd is one of the biggest artists on the planet, consistently pulling in astronomical numbers? Regardless of the silence, the album is on its way—though we’ll have to wait until next year for its arrival.
The Weeknd has officially revealed that Hurry Up Tomorrow will drop on January 25th. He shared the announcement on X, using ominous red lettering to set the tone. Fans have already gotten a taste of the project through tracks like “Dancing In The Flames,” “São Paulo,” and “Timeless.”

Honestly, I think Drake’s most formidable rival right now might be The Weeknd. Both hail from Canada, which adds an ironic twist to their differences. Plus, it’s hard to deny they’re two of the biggest male music acts globally. With a strong performance on Hurry Up Tomorrow, especially with Drake’s momentum slightly dampened by ongoing beefs, The Weeknd has a real shot at claiming the top spot—at least in Canada.
