Kendrick Lamar and SZA Announce 2025 Stadium Tour

Kendrick Lamar has made all the right moves in 2024.

It’s safe to say that 2024 was Kendrick Lamar’s most monumental year yet—a bold claim, considering his already illustrious career. While “Not Like Us” might not be his most iconic track, and GNX might not be his best album, their popularity has been undeniable, earning him Grammy nominations (with GNX almost certain to be in contention next year). Pair this with a potential show-stopping Super Bowl performance and a decisive victory in one of hip-hop’s most talked-about rivalries, and it’s clear that Kendrick has been on an unparalleled trajectory. Today, he marked yet another major milestone in his remarkable year.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have officially announced a stadium tour set to run from April to June 2025. The initial schedule includes 21 dates, with performances at iconic venues like SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Soldier Field in Chicago. Notably, one of the stops is in Toronto—an interesting choice that might stir some chatter.

It’s no surprise that Kendrick Lamar has managed to sell out stadium tours; he’s a powerhouse artist and a must-see performer, especially at this moment of his career. However, let’s not pretend that Drake isn’t capable of achieving the same feat—his global fanbase is just as massive. Putting aside the comparisons, it’s undeniable that Kendrick is firing on all cylinders right now. And before anyone dismisses his success by attributing it solely to SZA’s presence on the tour, let’s acknowledge that Kendrick’s talent and artistry are more than enough to draw crowds.
