Kendrick Lamar performing in Toronto twice is definitely a bold move.
Honestly, I’m tired of the constant focus on Kendrick Lamar and Drake. In an ideal world, we’d have new topics to dive into, but this s**t is dominating the music world. That said, one intriguing development worth discussing is Kendrick’s decision to perform in Drake’s hometown, Toronto, during his upcoming tour. Interestingly, Charlemagne Tha God doesn’t seem to think it’s a smart move.
On a recent episode of The Brilliant Idiots podcast with Andrew Schulz, Charlamagne Tha God suggested that Kendrick Lamar might face challenges performing in Toronto, jokingly attributing it to Drake’s “white side” potentially creating complications. Below is the full video where Charlamagne shares his thoughts.

Kendrick Lamar will undoubtedly be fine in Toronto. Let’s not forget that he’s a seasoned 37-year-old artist who keeps a low profile. He’s far from the type to get caught slipping. What’s most likely to happen? He’ll crush his performance, take a few pictures with fans, and head out without incident. That said, it wouldn’t be surprising if some folks claim they “pressed” him—it’s just how these narratives play out sometimes. That being said, I pray for peace.
