Sabrina Carpenter & Chappell Roan Cover Wham!

Sabrina Carpenter in A Nonsense Christmas, by Netflix

A jolly team up for a holiday classic!

Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan took on Wham in a duet of their famous song Last Christmas, the duet in question happened on Carpenter’s netflix special A Nonsense Christmas which premiered yesterday. “There are comedy specials, and there are musical specials, and there are holiday specials. But who does musical comedy holiday specials? A lot of people,” the star quipped about the special while preforming It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, “everyone with a musical comedy holiday special does them with celebrity guests, and this is one of those.”

The special didn’t just feature Roan, although she was an amazing guest, other stars joined Carpenter for various duets such as Tyla preforming This Christmas, Kali Uchis joining in for I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, and Shania Twain with a duet of Santa Baby. The special was 49 minutes long and alongside the various guests, featured Carpenter’s signature spicy lyrics.

It’s not all good news for Sabrina Carpenter however, this Tuesday she broke up with Barry Keoghan, who just deactivated his Instagram the day before the special premiered due to various hateful comments. The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent, and every other inhumane thing you can imagine,” Keoghan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
