A$AP Rocky Delays Release of Highly Anticipated Album “Don’t Be Dumb”

OK, this negro is just stalling now.

This was meant to be A$AP Rocky’s breakout year. He was set to return to the music scene with his highly anticipated album Don’t Be Dumb. While he did release a few promising singles and even stirred up a bit of drama with Drake, it seems fans will have to wait a bit longer.

Rocky has confirmed that the album’s release will be postponed until early 2025. The news came via an online post featuring an elegantly crafted letter from the artist himself.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: A$AP Rocky was meant to be part of the Big 3 conversation, alongside Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and J. Cole. His first two albums, Long.Live.A$AP and At. Long. Last. A$APare excellent. However, he faced a setback with Testing, an album that didn’t quite meet expectations. This new project, Don’t Be Dumb, was expected to mark a comeback and make up for that dip in his career. Sometimes, you can take too long to drop a project.

If Detox comes out before Don’t Be Dumb, I’m going to be pissed.
