Playboi Carti Teases His New Track With Travis Scott | RGM News

RGM to Playboi Carti: Drop, drop, drop.

Listen, I am completely over all the teasing Playboi Carti has been doing these past few months. Since last year, he’s been telling us his new album, I AM MUSIC, is “coming soon,” dropping all these teasers and cryptic messages. Yet, all we’ve gotten are more pump fakes than Kobe Bryant. At this point, I’m tired, frustrated, and feeling played. While I’ve been ignoring the antics lately, there’s been one glimmer of hope that the album might actually be on the way—a teaser.

Yesterday, Playboi Carti gave the world a sneak peek of a new track called “CRUSH,” featuring Travis Scott. In the clip, he previews the intro, with some clapping and other sounds. The only reason I know Travis is on the track is because you can hear his ad-libs in the background.

I’ve been busy prepping RGM’s servers for the moment Playboi Carti finally drops the most anticipated body of work since the Bible, I AM MUSIC. What’s funny is that he teased this project last year with a song called “2024,” and now we’re practically in 2025, and we still haven’t seen a damn thing. This is master-level marketing—it’s working on everyone, just not me.
