I almost cried tears of joy hearing these legends on a track together.

You can’t call yourself a true hip-hop fan if you’re not a fan of legends like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, or Dr. Dre. These icons have over 100 years of combined experience in the game and have dropped countless classics that helped shape hip-hop into what it is today. The exciting news? Not only are they still making music, but they’ve come together for a new collaboration on Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s latest album.

Missionary includes a track titled “Gunz N Smoke,” featuring verses from Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg. While we’re accustomed to seeing these artists shine solo, Snoop and Dre made sure to unite the team for this powerhouse track. Interestingly, they also shared that Eminem is the “picky one” of the group when it comes to collaborating.

First and foremost, I have to say this: Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s Missionary album is fantastic. The instrumentals are top-notch, Snoop delivers some excellent rapping, and the guest appearances are solid. While I wouldn’t call “Gunz N Smoke” my favorite track on the album, it’s definitely one of the standout moments that takes me on a walk down memory lane.
