Cardi B & Offset Trade Shots On Twitter

I expect these episodes to happen every few months.

Just a few days ago, I mentioned how surprisingly quiet the divorce news between Cardi B and Offset had been. While it started off heated, things settled down for a while. However, recently, things started to escalate again. Cardi and Offset were spotted in the same club, exchanging playful antics, and a text message exchange between them was leaked to social media. Today, things took a more toxic turn.

On Twitter, Cardi B and Offset engaged in a back-and-forth, each accusing the other of having misguided priorities. Offset claimed that Cardi B only wanted drama and attention from men, while Cardi shot back, accusing Offset of being jealous of all the men she interacts with. The situation turned particularly nasty when Cardi demanded that Offset “sign those papers,” referencing their divorce.

In the text exchange, Offset said, “no one wins when the family feuds.” Personally, I think no one wins when people air their business on social media. Some things can be worked out privately through a text or phone call—there’s really no need to put it all out on Twitter. Whatever the outcome, though, I don’t think this will be the last chapter in the Cardi B and Offset saga.

Strangely, I see Cardi and Offset getting back together in 2030.
