Honorable Mention. Mirror Picz
I need a mirror picture of Cooking with Kya.
For those who might not vibe with SahBabii’s usual style, “Mirror Picz” might just be your jam. It’s a commercial-friendly track, with a super catchy (and borderline corny) hook and fun production that mixes traditional trap sounds with a playful, almost funhouse-like vibe. Vocally, SahBabii dials it back with some smooth crooning as he praises his lady, portraying her as a top-tier dime. He also drops a few lines about the wild things he’s willing to do to her. Overall, the song is just an easy and enjoyable listen.
5. Workin
Do I hear some humility from SahBabii here?
In “Workin,” SahBabii opens up about his struggles. He also reflects on how picking up a mic changed his life. The track is driven by a soulful beat that adds a lot of depth. While the slightly nerdy tone in SahBabii’s vocals isn’t my favorite, I appreciate his gentle demeanor and humble approach to the track, showing a more grounded side of him.
4. Lost All My Feelings
OK, it’s good to hear SahBabii get slightly introspective in a track.
My first paragraph might have been a bit of an exaggeration. While SahBabii does touch on being in his feelings, the majority of the track is about playing women, putting opps in their place, and upgrading his ladies. For me, though, the real standout is the slick, smooth production. I also really vibe with the ultra-smooth chorus Sah lays down, paired with his signature hardcore playa moments.
3. All The Way
SahBabii is getting so high that Kodak Black can understand what he has to say.
If you’ve ever thought SahBabii sounds like a mix between Young Thug and Playboi Carti, that comparison hits home on “All The Way.” The track features chill trap production that has some colorful moments, and SahBabii brings it with dynamic flows and vocal styles, talking about his come-up and his plans to elevate. Personally, I’m all about the catchy chorus and the smooth, sly vibes, but the rest of the track doesn’t really do much for me.
2. Waikiki
Damn, SahBabii sounds like a savage in “Waikiki.”
Throughout “Waikiki,” SahBabii talks about getting into it with his opps, flipping broads like mattresses, and stiff-arming silly s**t in favor of making money. The first thing that caught my attention about the track was the production. It features this colorful sound that true trap rap fans are familiar with and will enjoy. I also like how brash SahBabii sounds over the track, opting to focus on riding the beat more than toying with all these different styles. Overall, this s**t is hard, my guy.
1. Viking
Damn, the Minnesota Vikings just beat the Chicago Bears a few weeks ago.
There’s a lot to like about SahBabii’s “Viking.” First off, the hook is spot on. I love how he delivers it with this effortless nonchalance, while still riding the bouncy beat perfectly. I also appreciate how he makes it clear, especially to those of us who aren’t as familiar with him, that he couldn’t care less about who likes him—he’s too busy playing with more sticks than a gamer. It’s a smooth flex that works.

SahBabii has been in the game for a while now, but it’s fascinating how this particular body of work has garnered the most attention. Here’s my theory: SahBabii has some strong Playboi Carti vibes, and with Carti holding off on releasing his I AM MUSIC project, fans are eager for anything that captures that same energy. In my opinion, SahBabii nails that Carti sound on this album.
Throughout Saaheem (A Lu Bit More), SahBabii experiments with various rap styles—some reminiscent of Thugger, others of Gunna, Young Nudy, and of course, Playboi Carti. Lyrically, he spends a lot of time rapping about things like hooking up, getting into conflicts, and making money. All in all, while this project definitely has some fun trap bangers with catchy hooks and unique melodies, I just don’t feel like many of the tracks are truly memorable in the long run.
