Does this guy not know he was the charity he needed to donate to?
A few years ago, Geoffrey Owens, best known for his role on The Cosby Show, found himself unexpectedly thrust into the spotlight when a photo of him working at Trader Joe’s went viral. While holding a job at the grocery store is entirely normal, many were surprised to see a former Hollywood actor in such a position.
Among those moved by his story was Nicki Minaj, who generously gifted Owens $25,000. However, he chose to donate the entire sum to charity. Reflecting on his decision, Owens now admits he wishes he had kept the money, as he continues to face financial challenges despite occasional acting roles.
"It was a handout."

While many might criticize Geoffrey Owens for his decision, I’m not one of them. As someone who values pride and dislikes being the subject of pity, I can completely understand why he might feel uneasy about accepting such a generous gift from someone. That said, negro, you absolutely should’ve held on to that money!
Do you agree with Geoffrey Owens here?
