Lil Baby Drops Official Album Trailer for “WHAM”

“WHAM” is coming in hot.

We don’t have to wait very long before we get to hear the most anticipated album of 2025. On January 3rd, Lil Baby will release his highly awaited project, WHAM. The album boasts guest appearances from Future, Rod Wave, Young Thug, and more. As excitement builds, Lil Baby has given fans another preview of what’s to come.

Last night, he unveiled the official trailer for WHAM. The video features Lil Baby reflecting on his roots, the city that shaped him, and how he continues to navigate the streets today. It showcases him walking through what appears to be his neighborhood, hanging out with locals, and riding a motorcycle—setting the tone for what promises to be a powerful album.

Let me be direct: this album is crucial for Lil Baby. While his career had an incredibly strong start, it feels like he hasn’t quite recaptured the magic of those early years. That said, there are signs of a comeback—his recent guest features have been impressive and show his momentum is building again.

Still, one challenge stands out: he’ll have to succeed without Gunna’s input, a factor that’s been pivotal in some of his past successes. It’s an underrated obstacle that could heavily impact the project’s outcome.

So many people seem locked in heading into 2025. I love it.
